Can't Export or Download

Fix Captions export errors — switch networks, check device storage, and try alternate export settings when a video won’t download from iOS or web.

If you’re unable to export or download your project, try the following steps in order.

1. Disable low power mode

Swipe down to open Control Center and turn off low power mode. Retry exporting.

2. Check your device storage

Make sure you have enough free storage on your device. A full device can prevent exports from completing.

• Check storage on iPhone
• On Android, go to Settings → Storage

3. Restart your device

Power your device off completely, then turn it back on and try exporting again.

4. Check Camera Roll permissions

On iPhone, Captions needs full access to your Camera Roll to save exported videos.

1. Open the Settings app
2. Scroll down and tap Captions
3. Tap Photos
4. Select Full Access

If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact support with a description of the error and the steps you’ve already tried.
