# Captions Desktop (Legacy)

> Guide to the legacy Captions desktop web app at desktop.captions.ai, a timeline-based AI video editor with a dark interface and no credits system.

## Overview

The legacy Captions app lives at **desktop.captions.ai**. It features a dark interface with a timeline-based editor, and does not use a credits system. It supports a different set of features from the current Captions web app.

## Sign In

Go to [desktop.captions.ai](https://desktop.captions.ai) and sign in using the same method you used to create your account.
